As a recently elected District Director of the Neighborhood Council of Westchester / Playa representing Westport Heights, I have been wanting to understand the characteristics of Westchester and beyond that Playa Vista and Playa Del Rey. A few weeks ago I started thinking about what sort of information the stakeholders of NCWP would be interested in. Once I started digging around for data and looking at ways to analyze it, I decided to start this blog.
In this blog, I will periodically post results of my analysis. I will be analyzing answers to questions posed by and to the board, on Nextdoor and some of my own curiosities. I will explain my approach and tools I used and links to the code and data used so that my analysis can be reproducible or others can ask other questions using similar approaches.
